Go Green: World Environment Day Celebration
On June 5, our students gathered to celebrate Environment Day with a harmonious blend of reverence and responsibility. The Chief Guest, Mr Babu Parambath, one of the founding members of Niravu Vengeri, graced the occasion with his esteemed presence, adding a touch of wisdom and grandeur to the event.
Our Principal, with eloquence and passion, delivered the Presidential Address, setting the tone for the day's celebrations. His words resonated with the promise of a greener tomorrow, inspiring all present to cherish and protect our precious environment.
The inauguration of the event was marked by a symbolic and poignant act: planting a seedling. This simple yet profound gesture embodied our collective hope for growth, renewal, and the flourishing of nature's bounty.
Amidst the gentle rustling of leaves and the whispering winds, the Nature Club Secretary, Alfred Abraham Jose, administered the oath. His voice echoed with commitment and dedication, urging everyone to pledge their unwavering support to the cause of environmental stewardship.
The Chief Guest, Mr Babu Parambath, then took the stage once more to honour the students who have actively participated in various environmental activities. With a smile as warm as the morning sun, he distributed certificates, recognizing their efforts and encouraging them to continue their noble endeavours.
The celebration, infused with poetic beauty and heartfelt dedication, left a lasting mark on all who attended. It was a day that not only celebrated our connection with nature but also reinforced our duty to preserve and protect it for generations to come.
